| Christian was born with a very rare disease called DiGeorge Syndrome. It is caused by a deletion on the 22nd Chromosome. The 22q11.2 deletion affects each person differently but has some very common features such as heart defects, cleft palate, skeletal defects, immune disorders, growth problems and many others. |

| Christian has Congenital heart Disease called Tetralogy of Fallot. He had open-heart surgery when he was 2 months of age and will have valve replacements in the future.. |
